It is well known that dieting comes in many different forms, such as the blood-type diet, the starch diet, and the bite-by-bite diet… not to mention the products that are sold and whose advertisements we see on those TV channels, and no one really knows how dangerous they are to our health.
After researching diet systems, we found that there are very strange types, and even stranger is that there are people who are actually obsessed with these systems, such as:
The Cotton Diet
This diet involves eating and swallowing small cotton balls. It is the diet of fashion models and dancers, and it relies on filling the stomach while having almost zero calories. Despite studies saying that cotton as a plant can be beneficial to the body, its danger lies in the difficulty of swallowing it.
The High-Altitude Diet
This involves living 1,000 feet above sea level. After experiments conducted on a group of people who lived for weeks on a plateau and lived a normal life with the same level of food intake, the result was that they lost weight noticeably.
The Tongue-Pain Diet
In this diet, parts of the tongue are stitched in a way that makes it impossible to eat normally and makes swallowing difficult. As a result, you stay away from food for a period of time, and then rely only on liquids or very limited simple foods.
The Urine Diet
Based on a recent American study, it was discovered that human urine contains hormones that, if injected into a person, could lead to significant weight loss.
The Paintball Game Diet
Like almost any sport in any diet system, it makes you lose a lot of calories. The paintball shooting game — a game similar to war — has its own special diet system that allows you to eat your normal food, but practicing this game is capable of making you lose weight.
The Tapeworm Diet
It is known that the tapeworm lives on the wall of the stomach and eats most of the food we consume. That is why this is a strange system: you eat the tapeworm itself. And of course, this causes major damage to the digestive system.
